Implementing Process Unit Practicum, TIP Students Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Starch

The Agroindustrial Technology Study Program (TIP) of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University gave a practicum for the Unit Process Course on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 at the Process Engineering and Quality Control Laboratory at the Agrocomplex Building FTP Unud.


The practicum lecturer in the Process Unit for the topic of enzymatic hydrolysis of starch is Dr. I Wayan Arnata, S.TP., M.Si with Laboratory Administrators Made Surya Pramana Mahardika, S.TP., M.Sc.


The practicum aims to provide students with experience and practice related to the production of dextrin from tapioca by enzymatic hydrolysis process, namely liquefaction so that students are expected to understand the processes of enzymatic starch hydrolysis. In the practicum of enzymatic starch hydrolysis, observations were made visually before the starch was gelatinized, after it was gelatinized and at the end of the liquefaction process.
